Go on line and research the company, check the manufacturing and service guides, or USA Reference. Prepare your portfolio or brief. Make sure you have the names and titles of all interviewers (ask for business cards) Check the address and print a map of the location you will be interviewing. Also have the phone number. Have extra copies of your resume, references, diploma, certifications and your business card. Have the application filled out in advance accurately and honestly. (make sure this matches your resume) Prepare your interviewing outfit and have it ready, have it cleaned and pressed. Polish your shoes. Do a dry run. It’s great to invest in a white button down classic shirt every year. (for guys and ladies) Have follow up letters or cards ready to send out immediately after the interview.
