Day Wear Verses Date Wear

We have seen lots of women in the work world with wrong attire lending itself to thoughts other than work.

One example is a young girl at a bank tugging on the strap of her top and us noticing she had no under garments on. This is clearly not day wear (probably not even date wear) in any business venue. We have seen many tops that were too low and revealing too much. Clothes that are sheer, should be for an evening out and not the office.

Any under garments should stay just that: Under the Garment. These articles of clothing are bras, camisoles, slips and underwear like thongs. These garments are meant to stay unseen under clothing.  If a top or blouse is too low, try a camisole under shirt or a thin knit to conceal any parts of the body that should not be exposed.

An experience of a candidate that interviewed wearing a nice suit, but had no top underneath is an example of what not to do. She wore a scarf instead of a top and the scarf slipped in the interview. This garment was very embarrassing for the candidate. We always suggest a trial run  with your interviewing attire.

Mini skirts are not appropriate for the office. Skirts should be at the knee or  past knee length.

If you want to be thought of as a professional, business attire should stay professional.
