Prepare For a Job Interview, Dress The Part

 

Always prepare for interviewing. You spend your life preparing for your job and writing the prefect resume. Take the preparation a step further, make sure you are ready.

This is a hard market to compete with the numbers available for that one job opening.

 

Because of my extensive experience in professional/technical recruiting, I get asked about dressing for an interview often. This my quick checklist to always be ready.

 

Eveyone can make these simple efforts or changes.

Here is a list of 7 for all.

 

 

 

1. Dark colored business suit

2. Crisp white or light colored shirt, Men—Tie

3. Men —Polished dress shoes,

   Women—Polished classic pump to match suit or neutral in color

4. Nice watch and minimal jewelry

5. Belt

6. Briefcase or portfolio

7. Smile

These tips will take you far to help get the job.
